Scouting America charters first girls’ troop in BullochWorking in partnership with Scouting America, American Legion Dexter Allen Post 90 made a little history last week: The post played host to a signing event that chartered the first-ever all girls’ troop in Bulloch County. Following the changing of the Boy Scouts of America name to Scouts BSA in 2019, the group officially became Scouting America in February. Leefield-area house fire displaces familyA southeast Bulloch County family is receiving comfort and aid today after a fire raged through the attic of their home early Sunday morning, leaving the residence unlivable.
