Brian Kent is a very giving volunteer in this community, often doing work that may go unnoticed by the public, but certainly not unnoticed by the person he is helping. Brian is very active in the American Diabetes Associa-tion work, serving as chairman of the local campaign, raising money for diabetes education and to try to lower the 9.2 percent incident rate of adult diabetes in Bulloch County. As part of their program of service, the ADA is seeking to lower Bulloch County's rate of adult obesity - currently more than 29 percent. Brian also volunteers his time and talents to other community organizations: Statesboro Home Builders Association, Bulloch County Sheriff's Office, the Chamber of Commerce and many others. Brian is a pilot and volunteers to fly for charitable events such as the Chamber's golf ball drop.
