We’re really excited to be able to present this section filled with community news, events and photos. We’re able to do this because so many of you are submitting your news, events and photos on our Community Page on the Web site.
Don’t forget! Today is the LAST day to submit your photos online to be eligible to enter the photo contest. The winner of the contest wins $50 PLUS the winning photo will appear on the front cover of the inaugural issue of Community Voice. If you haven’t entered that winning photo yet, go online and do it NOW! Watch for more contests in the future.

Ready to get started? Go to statesboroherald.com. Click on Community at the top of the page. Just above the calendar, a log-in box will appear with a register option. Create your free user account and get started! Keep in mind that your user name is the name that will appear on your submitted items. Then submit your news, photos and events for everyone in the community to see.
In addition to community news, you will see some blogs from our online discussions. We discuss books, politics, sports, animal issues and anything else that people are talking about. Got a topic you want to discuss? Want to get some feedback about an issue from your friends and neighbors? Post your thoughts online and come back to read the comments from the community.
Look for lots of photos in Community Voice. We will be in full color to take full advantage of the many photographs you have submitted. Post your photos and look to see if they appear in Community Voice on Friday.
