Mrs. Sandra Akins Ellwood of Statesboro announces the engagement of her daughter, Lindi Lee Ellwood of Statesboro, to Will Connor Sullivan V, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.C. “Bo” Sullivan IV of Americus, Ga.
The bride-elect is the daughter of the late H. Eugene Ellwood and is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Akins of Register and the late Mr. and Mrs. John K. Ellwood of New Philadelphia, Ohio. Lindi is a 2001 honor graduate of Statesboro High School and received a B.B.A. in Marketing from Georgia Southern University and will graduate December 2008 with a Master’s in Teaching from Georgia Southern University. She is currently employed as an eighth grade mathematics teacher with the Burke County Board of Education.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Tyler Stevenson, the late Mr. and Mrs. Will Connor Sullivan Ill and the great-grandson of Mrs. Mable Stevenson, all of Americus. Connor is a 2001 graduate of Southland Academy and a 2005 graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Ga. He is employed as a forester at American Forest Management, Inc., Statesboro.
The wedding is planned for October 4, 2008, at six o’clock in the evening at The First United Methodist Church in Statesboro with the reception to follow at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Suddeth in Register.
