Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Fleming of Millen are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Virginia Elizabeth Fleming, to Mr. Chad Foy Fordham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Burney Fordham of Brooklet.
The wedding is planned for 5 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2008, at Millen United Methodist Church in Millen.
Miss Fleming is the granddaughter of Mrs. Virginia Lesher and the late Mr. William “Bill” Lesher and Mrs. Myra Fleming and the late Mr. Lewis Fleming, all of Millen. She received a Bachelor of Science in Education in 2006 from Georgia Southern University. She is employed by Burke County Board of Education as a fourth-grade teacher.
Mr. Fordham is the grandson of the late Mrs. Jeanette Johns of Brooklet, the late Mr. Jack Brigdon of Pooler and the late Mr. and Mrs. Burnel Fordham of Brooklet. He is a 1999 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School. Currently, he is employed by Flextronics, Inc. as a technician for Verizon Wireless, Inc.
