Ms. Elaine K. Smith of Sylvania is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Victoria Elaine Franklin, to Jeremy Paul Morris, son of Mr. Wayne Morris and Mrs. Pam Morris of Sylvania.
The bride-elect is the daughter of the late John W. Franklin and is the granddaughter of the late George R. Franklin Sr. and Edwina H. Franklin, all of Statesboro, and Mrs. Wilma R. Smith and the late G.M. Smith of Lincolnton, Ga. Victoria is a 2002 graduate of Screven County High School and a 2006 graduate of Georgia Southern University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. She is currently employed with Bulloch County Department of Family and Children Services as a child protective services investigator.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Elise A. Morris and the late Paul W. Morris of Sylvania and Mr. and Mrs. Leroy F. Hemm of Burlington, Iowa. Jeremy is a 2000 graduate of Screven County High School and served four years in the United States Air Force. He is currently employed with Defense Support Services as an aviation mechanic.
The wedding is planned for October 25, 2008, at five o’clock in the evening at Green Hill Baptist Church in Sylvania. The reception will follow at the Shrine Club in Sylvania.
No local invitations will be sent out. All friends and family are invited.
