Mr. and Mrs. Brent Terrell
Amy Frances Hagans, daughter of Charlene Hagans of Metter and the late Freddie Hagans, became the bride of Brent Robertson Terrell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Terrell of Stilson, on November 8, 2008, at the Hubert United Methodist Church in Stilson, Ga. Pastor Tom Osborne officiated the double-ring ceremony.
Music was provided by Tracy Hagans, brother of the bride, who sang two songs during the ceremony, which he wrote. Also, Helen Hardiman, cousin of the bride, was the pianist during the ceremony.
The church was decorated with floral arrangements of red and white roses and plush green ferns. White bows accented by ivy adorned the aisles.
In remembrance of the bride's father, a memorial candle was lit by her and her mother during the ceremony.
The bride, given in marriage and escorted by her mother, wore a white strapless gown made of organza and satin featuring pearl and sequin accents. It was highlighted by a ruched waistline accented by sequin detail. The chapel-length train was detailed with lace embroidery and pearl and sequins. Her fingertip-length veil was accented also by sequins and pearls. She carried a white satin-wrapped bouquet accented by pearls surrounded by red and white roses.
Charlene Hagans, mother of the bride, served as her matron of honor and Tonya Hagans, sister-in-law, served as her bridesmaid. They both wore apple red tea-length satin dresses with a classic boat neckline. They each carried a single white rose accented by gold ribbon.
Taelyn Hagans, niece of the bride, served as the flower girl. She wore a white dress made of organza accented by a white rose at the waistline. She carried a white basket filled with red rose petals.
Hubert Terrell of Stilson, father of the groom, was the best man. Kerry Terrell, also of Stilson, brother of the groom, served as the groomsman. Ushers were Dustin Terrell, Cody Ranew and Jeff Smith V, nephews of the groom, all of Statesboro.
Trayson Hagans, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.
Following the ceremony, the bride's mother hosted a reception at the church, which was catered by Debbie Creasy, aunt of the bride.
On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Old Post Office Cafe in Brooklet.
The couple honeymooned on a cruise, which traveled to Key West, Fla., and Nassau, Bahamas, and now resides in Stilson.
