Mr. and Mrs. William Goggins of Cedartown, Ga., announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Tajmina Karry of Statesboro, to Dr. Anthony Chavers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Chavers Sr.
The bridge-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Paschall of Newark, N.J. She is a 1993 graduate of Benjamin E. Mays High School in Atlanta and is a 1998 graduate of Savannah State University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in computer science. She has been employed with Social Security Administration since 1996.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Lee Chavers of Statesboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. Wilken Washington of Portal. He is the great-grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Adock Hagins of Portal and the late Mr. and Mrs. Eulie Chavers of Metter. He is a graduate of Statesboro High School and is also a graduate of Logos Bible College in Jacksonville, Fla. He is the founder of Agape Worship Center in Statesboro.
The couple has planned to wed on Saturday, May 12, 2007, at 1 p.m. at Agape Worship Center. The reception will immediately follow at the Georgia Southern University Nessmith-Lane Building.
