Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Lewis of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Alaina Lewis of Statesboro, to Justin Everett Peay, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Peay.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Walter and Sara Lewis, Lewis and Hazel Hendrix and Clayton and Claire Phillips. She is a 2005 graduate of Statesboro High School and is currently employed by Sea Island Bank of Statesboro as a branch marketing assistant.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Don and Betty Braden and Spurgeon and Aleatha Peay and is the great-grandson of Mrs. Bessie Braden. He is a 2003 graduate of Statesboro High School and is a 2008 graduate of GSU with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts. He is currently employed by Statesboro First United Methodist Church.
The couple has planned to wed on October 11, 2008, at 3:30 p.m. at Statesboro First United Methodist Church.
