Elder and Mrs. John Robert Scott of Statesboro, Ga., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Leigh of Statesboro, to Christopher Gregory Elrod of Dawsonville, Ga., son of Mr. and Mrs. Greg Elrod of Toccoa, Ga.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Elder and Mrs. W.R. "Bob" Scott and the late Margaret Scott of Statesboro. Rachel is a graduate of Ogeechee Technical College with a degree in Nursing. She is currently employed as a nurse at East Georgia Women's Center in Statesboro.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Latrelle Elrod and the late Mr. Ralph Elrod of Toccoa, Ga., and Mr. Samuel Errington and the late Mrs. Aline Errington of Baltimore, Md. Chris is a graduate of North Georgia Technical College and is currently employed as an electrical engineer at Mesh Engineering in Cumming, Ga.
The couple has planned to wed on Saturday, December 5th, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church in Statesboro.
All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
