Gail Tirey of Savannah and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hodges of Guyton announce the marriage of their children, Kristen Elizabeth Tirey and Brandon Joseph Hodges.
Kristen graduated from South Effingham High School in 2004. She attended Armstrong Atlantic State University. Currently, she is employed at Bank of America.
Brandon graduated from Southeast Bulloch High School in 1999. He is employed with Georgia Power.
The ceremony, officiated by Jimmy Hedrick, took place on Tybee Island on September 15, 2007, at 6 o’clock in the evening.
The bride had Clara Hodges, sister-in-law of the groom, as her matron of honor and Ashley Kesseler as her maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Erin Walsh and Molly Lancaster, both cousins of the bride. Flower girls were MaKenna Mercer, cousin of the bride; and Kelsey Hodges, niece of the groom.
The groom had his brother, Justin Hodges, as his best man. Groomsmen were Joseph Hodges, father of the groom; Jonathan Tirey, brother of the bride; and Kurt Gay. Ring bearer was Mason Wiechec, cousin of the bride.
A reception followed the ceremony at Mill Creek Banquet and Lodge in Rincon.
The couple will live in Springfield.
