    Mr. and Mrs. Edwin L. Wynn Jr. of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Leah Rebecca Wynn of Savannah, to Matthew Charles Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Newton M. Brown of Conyers, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Edwin L. Wynn Sr. of Brooklet, Gwendolyn S. Pratt of Acworth, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. Samuel R. Pratt Sr. of Hendersonville, N.C.
    Leah is a 2000 graduate of Statesboro High School and is a 2006 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a bachelor of business administration degree in marketing. She is currently employed in the Savannah branch office of Expediters International of Washington as an import customs brokerage agent.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Ruby B. Brown and the late Newton M. Brown of Covington, Ga., and the late Paul R. Lilly of Valdosta, Ga., and the late Betty W. Lilly of Dasher, Ga. Matt is a 1999 graduate of Heritage High School in Conyers and is a 2004 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a bachelor of business administration degree in the field of logistics and inter modal transportation. He is currently employed as the southeast territory manager with Aquatic Sales in Conyers.
    The couple has planned to wed on April 14, 2007, at 6 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Statesboro. The reception will follow at 7 p.m. at Forest Heights Country Club.

Ashley Brooke Merritt Jay Robert Clarke

    Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy and Susan Merritt of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Brooke Merritt of Statesboro, to Jay Robert Clarke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy and Janice Clarke.
       The bride-elect is the granddaughter of James and Barbara Lambert and Jim and Brenda Merritt, all of Alabama. She is the great-granddaughter of James and Alice Lambert of Huntsville, Ala. Ashley attended Statesboro High School and Ogeechee Technical College. She graduated with a degree in Echocardiography and is currently employed by Savannah Cardiology in Okatie, S.C. She is also an active member of Register Baptist Church.
       The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. J.R. Clarke of Savannah. Jay attended Statesboro High School and Ogeechee Technical College. He is currently self-employed as an agriculture and livestock farmer. He is also an active member of Register Baptist Church.
       The couple has planned to wed on April 17, 2010, at 6 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church.
