Shelia McGahee of Statesboro wishes to announce the engagement and forthcoming wedding of her daughter, Rosanna Ansley McGahee, to Thomas Brandon McElveen, son of Shawn and Tonia McElveen of Brooklet.
The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Gary McGahee and is the granddaughter of the late Rufus Jr. and Shirley Miller of Statesboro, A.P. and Bobbie Gould of Pensacola, Fla., Ida Ann Teal of Midville, Ga., and the late Henry McGahee of Statesboro. She is a 2008 graduate of Statesboro High School, a 2011 graduate of Ogeechee Technical College, with an Associate's degree in Accounting and Agribusiness and is employed with HeritageBank of the South of Statesboro.
The future groom is the grandson of James and Diane McKinney and Gene and Ona McElveen, both of Brooklet. He is a 2005 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and is a 2009 graduate of Ogeechee Technical College, with a Basic Law Enforcement certificate, and is employed with the City of Pembroke.
The wedding ceremony is planned for Saturday, June 30th, at 4 p.m. at the East Main Street Church of God.
A reception will follow at Community Crossroads Church.
Formal invitations have been issued.
