Mr. and Mrs. Blois Lucian Prosser and Pam Harris and Robert Boyd, all of Statesboro, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lori Prosser of Statesboro, to Adam Phillips, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Phillips and Jodi Dabb.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Charles and Betty Miller and Jean McGinnis and Bruce Prosser. She is a 2000 graduate of Statesboro High School and is employed as city clerk for the City of Brooklet.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Raymond and Barbara Jean Phillips and Billie Jean Layne and the late Bruce Layne. He is a 2002 graduate of Statesboro High School and is employed with H.A. Sack Company, Inc. in Statesboro.
    The couple has planned to wed on September 3, 2011, at 6 p.m. near the pond under the weeping willow tree at the home of Ricky Phillips.
