Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an elegant ivory silk full-length gown. The strapless sweetheart neckline and fitted bodice were cut in beautiful diagonal overlays of silk organza with unique raw edges that draped into gentle fullness of a modified A-line with a chapel-length train. A poetic mix of beaded flowers embellished the waist on the right side. Delicate silk organza covered buttons adorned the entire back of the bodice. Her fingertip-length veil was a simple and elegant ivory tulle.
Katie carried a clutch bouquet incorporating lush white peonies combined with antique garden roses, white cymbidium orchids and white hydrangeas accented with hanging amaranthus and magnolia leaves for a classically Southern look. The bouquet was wrapped in white Dupioni silk and featured a crystal brooch and her grandmother’s wedding rings.

Bridesmaids included Brittany Marie Coleman of Savannah, Erin Manley Groen of Johns Island, S.C., sister of the groom; Autumn Lee Jones of Atlanta, Polly Hoyt Nance of Atlanta, cousin of the bride; Jessica Averitt Rushing of Statesboro and Casey McKenzie Wright of Atlanta.
The bridesmaids wore beautiful full-length gowns in spa blue chiffon embellished at the waist with a matching satin belt. A delicate shirred halter neckline added a touch of elegance to the bodice of their gowns. They carried clutch bouquets of white hydrangeas accented with peonies, astilbe, hanging amaranthus and magnolia leaves tied with white satin ribbon.
