Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Stone of Statesboro, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Lee Stone of Savannah, Ga., to Patrick Lindsey Hopkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carter W. Hopkins Sr. of Vero Beach, Fla., and the late Beverly Brannen Hopkins of Statesboro.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Joyce M. Stone, the late Ralph P. Stone and the late Mr. and Mrs. William E. Waldren. She is a 2000 graduate of Statesboro High School and received a BS degree in Fashion Merchandising from the University of Georgia in 2004.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of H.L. "Pat" and Sue Brannen of Statesboro and Lindsey and Dorothy Hopkins of Atlanta, Ga. He is a graduate of Darlington School in Rome, Ga., and attended Mercer University.
    The couple has planned to wed at sunset on August 11, 2012, in Hope Town, Elbow Cay, Bahamas.
