Mr. Phil Taylor of Ellijay, Ga., announces the engagement of his daughter, Melonie, to Dale McBride, son of Mrs. Harriett and the late Mr. Dennis McBride of Augusta, Ga.
    Melonie is a 2003 graduate of Bulloch Academy, a 2008 graduate of the University of Georgia, earning a Bachelor of Science in nutrition science, and a 2012 graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, earning a doctorate degree in physical therapy. She currently practices physical therapy at Healthsouth Walton Rehabilitation Hospital in Augusta.
    Mr. McBride is a 2000 graduate of Alleluia School and attended Augusta State University. Dale is currently employed by ADT Security as a sales and installation technician.
    The couple will celebrate a nuptial mass on September 27 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at St. Mary's on the Hill in Augusta, Ga.
