For the third year in a row, Franklin Toyota has driven away with Best of the Boro awards for Best Auto Dealership and Best Auto Service Department (Dealership).

General Manager Kyle Sherfesee believes what sets the 55-year-old company apart is the fact that they have a “Company First” vision statement.

“We believe our employees are the most important part of our business. We love them and their families like we are all a family of our own,” he said. “If we keep a positive and motivated work environment, customers will feel more at home.”

“We get directly involved in the community, raising money and awareness for charities, visiting sporting events and participating in sponsorship opportunities. There’s a right way to do something. We aim to get it right!”

Both the service department and sales departments strive to expand their customer relationships, and to improve upon what they have been doing.

“(We) listen and understand customers complaints and or praises,” he said. “We use everything to get better every day. Our service department makes it their responsibility to develop relationships with customers both at work and outside of the work place. We aren’t perfect, but we are working towards it.”

Sherfesee stated that one of their main focuses will be to improve the wait time in service and to have parts readily available. Their biggest goal, besides adding more inventory, is the completion of their new state of the art Toyota Certified Body Shop that will “hopefully” be open by the end of 2024. This will allow them to repair any damage to all cars in a lot less time.
