Three new candidates qualified Wednesday for local elections: two for seats on the Bulloch County Board of Commissioners and one for a seat on the Bulloch County Board of Education. Mary A. Felton qualified Wednesday for the BOE District 5, for which incumbent Glennera Martin qualified on Tuesday. Jeff Klare qualified Wednesday for Bulloch County commission Seat 2-D, which will be vacated since incumbent Robert Rushing will not run again.
