Mical Whitaker’s latest production for the Statesboro Youth Theatre uses famous fairy tale characters to tell a story about forgiveness. “Forgiven: A Fairy Tale” is sponsored by Statesboro Ear, Nose, Throat, and Sinus Center and will have two public performances – Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. – in the Emma Kelly Theatre. Directed by Whitaker, the plot centers around Elizadora, a witch wronged by her former fairy tale classmates, Goldilocks, Cinderella and King Midas.
