East Georgia Regional Medical Center announced Friday that the first baby born in the 2025 New Year is Adelyn, who made her arrival early in the morning on Jan. 1.  

"We wish Adelyn and her family good health, wellness and happiness for many years to come," the hospital said in a release. "Congratulations on delivering a healthy and beautiful New Year's baby girl here at EGRMC."
