A blustery, but sunny day greeted participants in the annual Walk For Diabetes fundraiser Saturday morning at Mill Creek Regional Park in Statesboro.

Walkers enjoyed food, music and comraderie among fellow walkers who came out to lend a hand.

Organizers said about $76,000 was raised Saturday to help find a cure for diabetes.
