ArtsFest 2015: Express yourself
w041115 ARTSFEST 01
Logan Penn, 4, prepares to make art with a bow and arrow slingshot by aiming for paint-filled balloons. The activity was sponsored by the Georgia Southern archery team and many participants were off the mark, as archer Ashley Hayden, background, is covered in paint.

While anyone can be artistic anytime, anywhere, Georgia Southern University's annual ArtsFest provides a very public outlet for spontaneous creation."Stop and Create" signs by every station briefly explain what is going on: 3-D design, dance, tie-dye. While the forecast was ominous, Mother Nature relented and held off the rain for a clear, beautiful Saturday, allowing thousands of people to express themselves — some in ways they might not have considered before.
