Statesboro's Bi-Lo grocery store at the Statesboro Mall was robbed Wednesday night by a man who threatened to shoot an employee if he did not keep quiet. Statesboro Police Capt. Scott Brunson said the suspect, a black male standing about 6'2", weighing between 150 and 200 pounds, and wearing a black shirt, jacket and jeans, jumped over the customer service desk counter around 11:20 p.m. Wednesday and threatened a male employee. The suspect never showed a firearm, but said to the victim "be quiet or I'll shoot you," police incident reports stated.
