A 12-year-old boy was killed Sunday afternoon as a result of an ATV accident, according to Georgia State Patrol reports. Shane Green, 12, son of Brian and Jackie Green of Montgomery Drive, Statesboro, died at Memorial Health University Medical center in Savannah after being airlifted there Sunday, said Trooper First-Class Earl Anderson. The child was riding his four-wheeler at a friend’s home on Cliponreka Road when he rode down a driveway and into the road, he said.
