Bulloch County sheriff's deputies responding to a domestic call Sunday evening said they found a man holding a woman down as he struck her. Larry Clark, 32, of Brad Lane, was charged with aggravated assault as well as other charges, Sheriff Lynn Anderson said in a news release issued Monday. Around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to the scene at a home in the 8000 block of Burkhalter Road, where Deputy 1st Class William Sims reported seeing Clark "holding a female subject down in the yard preparing to strike her," Anderson said.
