Question: Our 14-year-old daughter has difficulty controlling her anger. She has extreme outbursts fairly frequently here at home — screaming, cursing and even throwing things when she doesn't get her way. She appears to have no respect for us and very little consideration for her two younger siblings.

When I was in school, everybody had to join something or be an outsider. If you were a part of 4-H, Glee Club, Latin Club, Varsity Letter, the band or even the Leave it to Beaver Fan Club, you were acceptable. This was not written in stone, but attendance was the measure of success.
