Noise generated by a large party crowd and the smell of burning marijuana led to the arrest of two men attending a Johnson Street party. Members of the Statesboro-Bulloch County Crime Suppression Team were performing a walking patrol of the Dunlap Street area Thursday after receiving complaints of drug activity in the area, said Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson. The sound of a large party, with a sizable crowd, caught their interest, and as they drew closer, officers detected the odor or marijuana, he said.
