COLLEGE LANE — A woman said she tried to buy some marijuana for $10, but the unknown person who was supposed to get her the weed ran away with her cash and did not return. She complained to police, who found two glass pipes on her person that are commonly used for smoking crack, and arrested her on charges of possession of a drug-related object.
CAMPUS CLUB APARTMENTS — A man said an unknown person stole a bicycle that had been chained to the apartment stairs.
PAWN CITY/VINE STREET — Police responded to an alarm after someone shattered a glass door.
FLASH FOODS/U.S. 301 SOUTH — A man said his ex-girlfriend tried to strike him with a "large spring with red handles" as he drove away during an argument, and she fell. EMS took her to the hospital, then an officer took her to jail.
THE EXCHANGE APARTMENTS — A woman said her boyfriend took her bank card, and her bank told her charges were pending that she said she did not make.
MADISON MEADOWS — A woman told police a person she knew by first name only threw a rock and struck a seven-year-old in the stomach.
CAMBRIDGE AT SOUTHERN — A man stopped for a noise ordinance violation also was charged with marijuana possession.
EAGLE COURT — A man was walking his dog and returned to find two unknown men hanging around his apartment, so he called police.
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents
WEST WATERS LANE — (Clito) A woman told deputies she received a call from a man against whom she testified in a burglary case three years ago. The man was just released from prison and she recognized his voice when he asked to speak to her. She hung up and called law enforcement for a report.
MILLER STREET EXTENSION — (Statesboro) A juvenile called 911 about a fight in which she had been involved, and told responding deputies another juvenile cut her with a knife. EMS also responded, and the offending juvenile, who admitted using the knife after the other girl struck her, was taken to jail and then to Claxton Regional Youth Detention Center.
NEWTON ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman told deputies a Buck Creek man with whom she was living previously leaves notes at her home and messages on her phone. She said she fears him and he has been coming to her home when she is not there. He calls her at work and once upset her children by cursing in front of them.
PONDEROSA ROAD — (Portal) A woman said someone constantly rings her doorbell. Deputies did not find an offender.
OLD DILL ROAD — (Portal) A man told deputies a neighbor began driving through hi syard because the road was muddy. The complainant got angry and placed a sign stating his yard was not a driveway, but the offender continued using his yard as a cleaner way of travel.
MUD ROAD — (Brooklet) A woman called deputies because her male neighbor was cutting his grass while wearing only a thong. Deputies noted there is no privacy fence around the man's property and the complainant and neighbors are concerned over his choice of attire while doing yard work.
