Statesboro Police Arrests          

            Jamison Jambri Williams, 26, Crosswinds Drive —   reckless conduct.

            Julius William Don-Pedro, 40, Friar Tuck Drive, Albany — driving with a suspended license, probation violation, giving false information.

            William Terry Branch, 47, Orange Street — driving with suspended registration, operating an unsafe vehicle,.

            Matthew Sinclair Spells, 29, Old Dill Road, Portal — windshield/wiper violations, second offense driving with a suspended license, obstruction.

            Alton Mercer, 24, Brook Run, Register — marijuana possession.

            Amos Lee Hodges, 49, Butler Street — wanted person.

            Jennifer Nicole Fail, 18, Aline Drive, Metter — theft by shoplifting.

            Charles Madison Smith, 19, Jade Cove Drive, Roswell — DUI, failure to maintain lane, failure to report an accident with injury, death or damage.

            Hugh Brian Durrence, 50, Loves Chapel Road, Glennville — theft by shoplifting.

Georgia State Patrol Arrests

            Brittney M. Watson, 19, Geyser Place, Stockbridge — DUI (.115).

            Troopers issued 12 traffic citations Friday and 18 traffic citations Saturday.

Statesboro Police Incidents      

            OAK STREET — An officer stopped two females and found them with drugs and paraphernalia - crack pipes, marijuana and crack cocaine hidden in one woman’s bra.

            EAST MAIN STREET — An officer responding to a complaint found a one-and-a-half-year-old wandering the sidewalks alone. The father, when finally found, was charged with reckless conduct.

            MCDONALD’S/ARCHWAY DRIVE — A woman was picking her friend up from work when a man pulled behind her and blocked her. The incident was listed as a domestic dispute.

            HILL STREET — A man told police he found a 60-year-old man lying on the sidewalk, injured in his leg/hip area. The man, intoxicated, said he tried jumping from an embankment to the sidewalk and fell.

            JOHNSON STREET — A man was stopped for a traffic citation and fled when being handcuffed. Police caught him again and arrested him.

            RUDE RUDY’S — A man said he fought with an unknown person and then with a bouncer who tried intervening and suffered slight injuries, for which he declined treatment.

            COTTON AVENUE — A woman said her boyfriend struck her in the mouth, causing a cut. He was arrested for marijuana possession when police found him.

            MIGHTY MIKE’S #5/CHANDLER ROAD — Someone passed counterfeit bills.

            BUTLER STREET — A man found a newborn pup near his home and called animal control and police. During a routine check it was discovered the man was wanted in Hinesville, so he was arrested.

            PARKER’S BP — A woman said the father of her child pushed her t o the ground in front of the child. The man was not at the scene when police arrived.

            WAL-MART — A woman was arrested after concealing over $190 worth of items, and a man was arrested after hiding two routers and a digital camera in an office chair box, then not paying for them.

            SOUTH COLLEGE STREET — A man said four armed men took his wallet.

            FOXRIDGE APARTMENTS — A woman said a man passed out and fell from a chair, lacerating his head.

                       

Bulloch Sheriff’s Incidents        

            COWBOY WAY — (Portal) A man said three young males made harassing comments to his juvenile daughter while she was walking.

            REHOVIA BAPTIST CHURCH — (Statesboro) A man reported a burglary where someone took three chairs.

            BURKHALTER ROAD — (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of  Remington 30-06 rifle, a Savage .242 rifle, a Savage .223 rifle,  a safe and $5,000 in cash.

                       

Georgia State Patrol Incidents   s Friday, troopers issued 21 warnings, assisted three motorists and investigated eight crashes with six reported injuries.

            Saturday, troopers issued 13 warnings, assisted two motorists and investigated one crash with no reported injuries.

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following call Friday:

            Bulloch County EMS — two accident calls, one rescue call and nine medical calls.  

            Candler County EMS — three medical call. 

            Evans County EMS — one accident call and three medical calls.   

            Central 911 operators also routed  a call to Humane Enforcement and a call to Screven county 911.

           

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following call Saturday:

            Bulloch County EMS — one accident call, one rescue call and 15 medical calls.  

            Candler County EMS — one medical call. 

            Evans County EMS — four medical calls.   

            Central 911 operators also routed a call to the Bulloch County coroner, two calls to Bryan County 911, a call to the Bulloch County Correctional Institute, a call to Bulloch Humane Enforcement , a call to Effingham County 911 and a call to Jesup 911.
