Legal assistant Lorna DeLoach edged out challenger Charlie Aaron, a Statesboro attorney, Tuesday night in a tight race to win the position for Bulloch County Probate Court judge. DeLoach, who has been a legal assistant for more than 30 years, garnered 3,030 votes to Aaron’s 2,820. She will replace current Probate Judge Lee DeLoach, who decided not to run again after 30 years in the position.
