Voters in two districts, about one-fourth of Bulloch County’s population, are making choices in the current election for who will represent them on the Board of Education. School board seats are on the nonpartisan section of the ballot, included with both parties’ ballots for Tuesday’s election. With three candidates, the District 1 contest involving incumbent board member Cheri Wagner and challengers Shalah Hendrix and H. Lee Jones could go to a July 26 runoff between the two leading vote-getters.
