Emily’s colleagues and peers have many positive things to say about her including, “Emily has blossomed in her role as Physician/Clinical Informatics Specialist. She is always winning to design reports so that we can monitor metrics, improve quality/compliance, and safety. Emily is a problem solver and is always composed. She is one person and she is very organized to get her workload completed. Emily has clearly found her niche and she excels at it.”

EGRMC Chief Nursing Officer, Marie Burdett adds, “Emily has a positive attitude despite everyone not always being happy about an IT issue. She has addressed many physician frustrations and does a great job closing the loop and relaying information to the doctors. She excels in her role.”

A Wound Care Admissions Clerk,  Pharms has been part of the team at EGRMC for less than a year "but has managed to make herself indispensable.

She was nominated by her colleagues for her positive attitude, her dedication, her excellent communication skills, her responsiveness and her commitment to providing quality service while supporting her fellow Wound Care and Sleep Lab team members.

Joya’s nomination states, “Joya is great at her job in Wound Care; however, she is amazing for other units also. Joya’s performance for cardiopulmonary in the Sleep Lab is excellent. She consistently takes on more work and is always wanting to learn and do more. She never hesitates to learn how to do sleep authorizations, and when asked to learn how to do the sleep lab registrations, she gladly said yes. Knowing that Joya is here to help in any capacity at any time is refreshing and it makes our day just a bit less chaotic and for that we are thankful. It is employees like Joya that made EGRMC a great place to work and makes our job just that much better.”

"Emily's and Joya’s dedication is an inspiration to us all, and we are proud to honor them as Employees of the Month," said EGRMC CEO, Stephen Pennington.
