While Tropical Storm Debby forced the postponement of the Downtown Live concert August 8, the Fantasy Band is now set to bring their show to the East Main Street stage on Thursday.
Known as "The Carolina's Most Entertaining Party Band,", the group will perform a variety of beach music, Motown, funk, soul and smooth R&B. They have been performing together for more than 20 years.
Downtown Live runs through September, with a total of eight concerts taking place on select Thursday nights at 7 p.m. All concerts are held on East Main Street in front of the Bulloch County Courthouse and are free to the public.
Downtown Live will close out the 2024 season on Sept. 12 with local country artist, Cole Goodwin. Voted Savannah's Best Country Artist in 2023, Goodwin has become a well-known artist in the low country.
Admission is free to all shows, and food trucks and beverage vendors will open at 5 p.m., with each show beginning at 7 p.m.
