The Georgia Southern campus was sent reeling Wednesday after an early-morning accident took the lives of five students and left two others injured. In a heartfelt message sent out to the university community Wednesday afternoon, President Dr. Brooks Keel confirmed the tragic incident on Interstate 16 in Bryan County. "The loss of any student, especially in a tragic way, is particularly painful," Keel wrote in his message.
