Editor: It is my privilege to provide you with a brief report of recent activities of the Statesboro division of the Georgia Department of Veterans Service. The Statesboro office, which is located at 3A West Altman Street, serves Bulloch, Candler, Effingham, Evans, Jenkins and Screven counties with an estimated total veteran population of 14,635. Our department provides free representation and advice to beneficiaries regarding all state and federal veterans' benefits, as well as assisting in filing the applications.
