Local leaders of nearly every sort gathered in one place Thursday to review and discuss ongoing issues affecting Bulloch County. Dozens of representatives with the Bulloch County school system, the city of Statesboro, Bulloch County and Georgia Southern University all convened for a breakfast program at the Honey Bowen Building to meet with a group of local delegates — state Sen. Jack Hill, R-Reidsville; and Reps. Jan Tankersley, R-Brooklet; Larry "Butch" Parrish, R-Swainsboro; and Jon Burns, R-Newington.
