A 41-year-old man was shot in the leg late Tuesday night on Nature's Way, according to the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office.

Patrol deputies were notified at 11:12 p.m. that the man had been shot in the 100 block of Nature's Way. Deputies and EMS personnel responded, and the victim was taken to East Georgia Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The victim told deputies he was shot by an unknown black man with long hair who was driving a light-colored car.
Sheriff's Investigator Dusty Williams was assigned to the investigation.
