Metter police arrested a man on drug charges Monday after an investigation involving the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and other agencies. Metter Police Chief Dennis Nelson said Harace Kwama Fielder, 28, of Metter, is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of public housing and tampering with evidence. Police executed a search warrant at Fielder's home, and evidence led to his arrest, Nelson said.
