A man wanted in connection to a murder in Swainsboro was apprehended in Statesboro Thursday. Georgia Bureau of Investigation special agents received a tip that Darcy Canen Thompson, 24, of Swainsboro, was at a friend’s house in Statesboro, said Swainsboro police Chief Randy Ellison. GBI agents and Statesboro police located Thompson and took him into custody “without incident,” he said.
