Gov. Sonny Perdue presided over Wednesday's One Georgia Authority Board Meeting at Ogeechee Technical College. During the meeting, the Authority approved grants and loans totaling $5.2 million for projects around the state. One Georgia assists communities and regions in building the necessary infrastructure to support economic development. “The investments we make today will assist with a variety of economic developments and pay dividends by retaining and creating jobs, stimulating private investment and enhancing regional competitiveness,” Perdue said.
