A man suspected of a hit-and-run accident and driving under the influence fled from deputies early Friday but was arrested after crashing into a light pole and a second vehicle. Martin Taylor Floyd, 19, of Touchdown Court, struck a woman’s pickup truck near the intersection of Langston Chapel and Burkhalter roads around 1:09 a.m., Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson said. Floyd left the scene, but deputies located him a short time later on Langston Chapel Road.
