STATESBORO HIGH SCHOOL — A woman said her juvenile daughter was choked by another student.
DUNLAP STREET — A woman admitted having sold her identity to another person in 2009 for $500, so that person could file a fraudulent tax return. She began receiving disability in 2009 and now the fact that someone file a tax return in her name is threatening her disability benefits.
ECHO WAY — A man said his roommate threatened him with physical harm.
OPERATION MEDICINE DROP — The Statesboro Police Department collected 4,030 pills weighing five pounds and 6.7 ounces, as well as 22 ounces of liquid medication. These unused, unwanted medications were collected in drop boxes, brought in by citizens as part of the effort to take potentially dangerous medications out of the home and prevent them from possibly being found on the streets.
HERITAGE BANK OF THE SOUTH — Statesboro Police detectives are investigating the theft of an air conditioner unit from the bank.
WALMART — Someone stole seven cell phones from packages and left the store with the phones concealed under his clothing.
SEASONS APARTMENTS — $105 and a TV were stolen.
DOLLAR GENERAL (Northside Drive West) — Two women shoplifted several fleece clothing items by stuffing them into a purse before leaving the store.

Christopher Lavon Adams, 28, Reedy Branch Road — probation violation.
James Francis Stafford Jr., 65, Township Bluff Circle, St. Simons Island — probation violation.

BRUISER CIRCLE — (Statesboro) A woman said her ex-boyfriend shattered her car window.
FAST STOP/80 EAST — A man accused a man of shoplifting a cigar. He denied doing so, stating he picked it up and looked at it, then put it back. The clerk insisted he stole it and said he saw him put it in his pocket. A review of store video proved the store clerk wrong, and he apologized for calling sheriff’s deputies and making the accusation.
CYPRESS LAKE ROAD — (Register) A man said someone stole a computer tablet.
HOWELL’S WRECKER SERVICE — (Statesboro)A man reported a hole cut in a fence surrounding the property.
