Register police arrested a woman Friday on drug charges after a high-speed chase into another county. Around 5 p.m., Chief Kile stopped a car traveling at 76 mph through the town. The driver, Jasmine Lamarshae Petty, 20, 0f Georgia Avenue, increased her speed to over 100 mph in an attempt to flee, but stopped two miles past the Bulloch-Candler county line, he said.
