SYLVANIA - At their Tuesday night meeting, Sylvania City Council voted to set the proposed 2010 millage rate at 5 mills, which is no change from the 2009 rate. A public hearing will be held Oct. 5 at which time the final millage rate will be set for the year. Other business included the approval of proclaiming October as the official Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
