SEBMS student charged with carrying weapon at school
13-year-old found with box cutter

A student carrying a box cutter at Southeast Bulloch Middle School on Wednesday faces charges of carrying a weapon on school property and disrupting a public school. School officials called Bulloch County sheriff's deputies after being informed that a 13-year-old student possibly had a knife as well as marijuana, said Bulloch County Sheriff Noel Brown. However, the student was found only with a box cutter, and no illegal substances.
