A portion of South College Street will be closed Wednesday morning as Statesboro water and sewer crews work to make sewer improvements.
Beginning at 7:30 a.m., a section of South College, at the intersection with Mikel Street, will be closed to make sanitary sewer repairs, said Pam Ellis, administrative assistant for Statesboro’s Water, Sewer and Natural Gas Departments.
Repairs will require the section of road to remain closed for about six hours, Ellis said.
The road should reopen after 1:30 p.m.
