The Statesboro law firm of Edenfield, Cox, Bruce & Edenfield announces that the firm’s name has been changed to reflect V. Sharon “Sharri” Edenfield’s addition as a name partner.
After practicing law in Atlanta for several years, Edenfield joined the firm as an associate in 2007 and was made a partner in 2013. She represents clients on a wide variety of civil litigation matters.
Edenfield is married to Bill Lindsey and is the daughter of founding partner Gerald Edenfield.
Also, in December, Edenfield, Cox, Bruce & Edenfield welcomed a new attorney, Andrew Lavoie. He joined the firm after practicing law for more than seven years in Atlanta and clerking for one year with the Honorable Orinda D. Evans of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
A graduate of the University of Georgia and the University of Georgia School of Law, Lavoie represents individual and corporate clients in a civil litigation. He is married to the former Whitney Turner, whose family has called Bulloch County home for generations.
