The Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps’ (JROTC) color guard teams from Statesboro High and Southeast Bulloch High captured both the boys and girls Region 9 championship titles, and each team won other trophies during the event held last Saturday at Metter High School. The JROTC Region 9 is made up of high schools in Jenkins, Bryan, Candler, Emanuel, Toombs and Bulloch counties. The regional championship is the last event before the annual JROTC State Drill Competition next weekend in Griffin.
