A musical interpretation of one of Leonardo da Vinci’s most challenging creations – the painting of “The Last Supper” – will be presented by the Maritime Ministry Players at performances on Thursday and Friday at the Averitt Center for the Arts. The popular musical is produced by the Maritime Bethel in Savannah and the entire production is based on an original concept by Andy Krey, chaplain and executive director of the Maritime Bethel in Savannah. “After 17 successful years of productions all over the United States we are very excited that Statesboro is welcoming “The Last Supper” at the beautiful Averitt Center,” Krey said.
